Oil Based Coolants

Oil Pro

Oil Pro Grinding Coolant

Grind Clean Lubricants is proud to offer Oil-Pro grinding fluid/coolant. Oil-Pro is a light viscosity, mineral based oil designed for grinding or cutting steel, carbide, quartz, and crystal. Oil-Pro is ideal where a high lubricity, low viscosity cutting or grinding oil is required. Oil-Pro also finds use in honing and finishing of surgical knives and other products that require a very fine finish. The high flash point and non-toxic, biodegradable components of Oil-Pro make it safe to use.

Oil-Pro is approved for use by Walter Grinders and is equivalent to Mobil ® Upsilon brand of cutting oil.

Oil-Pro is used by many leading carbide and HSS tool manufacturers throughout North America. It can be used on most types of saw, tool, and rotary grinders. Oil-Pro grinding coolant will increase both grinding wheel and grinding machine life. In addition, the resulting surface finish will be better than grinding with water-based coolants. The major advantages of Oil-Pro are reduced grinding wheel costs, reduced grinder maintenance costs, and increased customer satisfaction with the finished product. Benefits of Oil-Pro include:

• Increased machine life, less grinder maintenance compared to water based coolant
• Improved work piece surface finish
• Increased diamond/CBN wheel life
• Excellent corrosion/rust protection
• Excellent lubricity
• Can filter below 1 micron without removing additives
• No foaming or suds
• No cobalt leaching when grinding carbide
• No problems with bacterial growth
• Very mild odor, translucent light brown color

Oil-Pro has a long service life if filtered properly. It has a minimum flash point of 320 °F and a specific gravity of 0.90. An air cleaning system (e.g., SMOG-HOG) for collecting coolant mist is recommended for grinders without a full enclosure. All CNC automatic grinders running oil-based coolants must have a spark arrester installed (check with the grinder manufacturer for more details).

Oil-Pro is available in 5-gallon buckets or 55-gallon drums.

Oil-Pro Lite

Oil-Pro Lite

We are pleased to announce a new addition to our range of PURE OIL coolants and cutting fluids.

New Oil-Pro Lite is a super low viscosity mineral oil for today’s new grinding machines. The super low viscosity oil is ideal for grinding ceramics, quartz, PCD, PCBN as well as Carbide and Cast Cobalt alloys.

Oil-Pro Lite is compatible with today’s latest filtration systems and is easily filtered down to sub-micron particle size.

Oil-Pro Lite has a class leading flashpoint of 320 degrees F. This is achieved by using pure refined oil. At GrindClean we do not use volatile thinners to achieve our low viscosity performance. We refine it that way. Because of this Oil-Pro Lite will not evaporate like some thin low cost oils.

Here are a few benefits of changing to Oil-Pro Lite

• Super Low viscosity of 5.9 Centistokes.
• Super high flashpoint of 320 deg F.
• Super Lubricating qualities for your machines.
• Super easy clean up for parts needing further assembly
• Contains no Chlorine to corrode your machines.
• Contains no Sulfur to hurt you employees.
• New low Price and volume discount structure to make your Boss happy

Oil-Pro Plus Synthetic

Oil-Pro Plus SYNTHETIC Grinding Coolant

Oil-Pro Plus is a light viscosity full synthetic oil designed for grinding or cutting, carbide, HSS quartz, and crystal. Oil-Pro Plus is ideal where a high lubricity, low viscosity cutting or grinding oil is required. Oil-Pro Plus is superior to mineral based coolants when it comes to grinding products that require a very fine finish. The higher flash point of 330 F and non-toxic, biodegradable additives make it very safe to use.

Oil-Pro Plus meets or exceeds the specifications required by all modern machine manufacturers and can be filtered below one micron without loss of additives.

Oil-Pro Plus is used by many leading carbide and HSS tool manufacturers throughout North America. It can be used on all types of saw and tool grinders set up for wet grinding. Oil-Pro Plus grinding coolant will increase both grinding wheel and grinding machine life. In addition, the resulting surface finish will be better than grinding with water-based coolants. The major advantages of Oil-Pro Plus are reduced grinding wheel costs, reduced grinder maintenance costs, and increased customer satisfaction with the finished product.
